1. Under what conditions can Canadian prescription drugs be purchased internationally from Canadian Meds Services' Canadian partner pharmacy?
The following conditions must be met and agreed to before any prescription item can be purchased from Canadian Meds Services:
- The prescription medication is for personal use.
- You provide the name and address of your personal physician that wrote your prescription and the prescription itself.
- The prescription drug is not a controlled or scheduled substance (i.e. a narcotic prescription drug or habit-forming prescription drug)

2. I have read that the large drug companies are threatening my ability to buy my prescription drugs from Canadian pharmacies like Canadian Meds Services. Is this true?
Yes, actions taken by the large prescription drug companies like Pfizer and Astra-Zeneca, have cut off supply to Canadian pharmacies like Canadian Meds Services. Although this presents a challenge to Canadian Meds Services, we continue to look for alternate supply lines and work hard to keep prices down.

3. How safe are Canadian prescription drugs and prescriptions from Canadian Meds Services?
Medications approved for sale in Canada undergo the same rigorous testing as those in the U.S. to verify their identity, potency, purity, and stability and demonstrate that they are safe and effective drugs for their intended use. Most Canadian prescription drugs are identical to drugs sold in other major regulated drug markets - such as the U.S. They may have a different box or container, or they may be slightly different in appearance than the medication you are purchasing locally, but they are the same drugs.

4. How much does shipping cost for my prescription drugs?
Shipping is US 14.95 per shipment. There are no other charges to be paid besides the price of your prescription drugs and the cost of shipping. We ship Canadian prescription drugs via priority mail from Canada and use International Expresspost for prescription drugs from our international pharmacy.

5. Can I have my prescription drugs shipped to my doctor's office?
Yes.

6. How long will it take to process my new prescription drug order and to ship my prescription drugs?
It takes up to 3 days to process your prescriptions and up to two weeks for arrival of prescription drugs from Canada provided that there are no problems with your order (i.e. missing prescription drug information, credit card processing difficulties). In addition, the postal system periodically experiences delays due to mail volumes. Prescription drugs from Canadian Meds Services' international partner pharmacy arrive in approximately the same time but in a separate package.
Delivery times can also be affected by U.S. Customs delays. As a result, please try to order three to four weeks in advance.

7. Can other family members' prescription drug orders be combined in the same box to save on shipping?
Yes, whenever possible. Orders for the same household will be shipped in the same package for a single shipping charge.

8. What if my Canadian prescription drugs never arrive?
If your Canadian prescription drug shipment does not arrive after 14 days (from order date) have passed, Canadian Meds Services will either fully refund your payment or reship your prescription drugs, as each case warrants.

9. What if Customs seizes my Canadian prescription drugs?
Usually Customs will contact you by letter in such an event, in which case you must advise us immediately so that alternate arrangements can be made.

10. Is all of my prescription drug information and payment information kept confidential?
Yes - absolutely. All personal, prescription and payment information is treated as highly confidential and will only be seen by pharmacy employees on a "need to know" basis. As well, all financial information, such as credit card numbers, is encrypted using the latest 128-bit technology and stored on our ultra-secure servers - much like your local bank.

11. Will I still be able to buy prescription drugs locally after purchasing Canadian prescription drugs from Canadian Meds Services?
Yes. Purchasing Canadian prescription drugs from Canadian Meds Services or any other Canadian pharmacy does not preclude your from purchasing other prescription drugs locally. You must however ask your local pharmacist to contact us so that a prescription transfer can be done.

12. Do I need a prescription to order Canadian prescription drugs?
Yes! We require a dated and signed American doctor's prescription for all prescription drugs you order. Just like your local pharmacy, our Canadian pharmacy requires a valid prescription from a physician licensed to practice in your area.

13. Does my doctor need to know I am ordering Canadian prescription drugs from a Canadian online pharmacy?
No, however we may need to phone your physician for prescription drug information or further clarification. Our pharmacists and doctors will always identify themselves and disclose that they are calling on behalf of Canadian Meds Services.

14. Can my doctor fill in and fax/send in the Patient Questionnaire and prescription drug information for me?
Yes, it is perfectly fine, but not necessary, to have your doctor send in your prescription and or Patient Questionnaire. All information needed to order from us can be sent in by you.

15. What is your exchange policy on prescription drugs?
For legal and safety reasons we are not able to accept returns for prescription drugs. We will replace or exchange orders however in the event we have made an error.

16. Can I place my first order if I submit all my personal and prescription drug information through the website?
Yes, you can submit all of the prescription drug information required in the Patient Questionnaire online, however we will still require you to send in your original prescription(s) before we can ship your order.

17. Are generic prescription drugs as effective as brand-name prescription drugs?
YES! All Canadian generic prescription drugs are approved by Health Canada, which is the Canadian equivalent of the FDA. They are subject to the same stringent manufacturing rules as in the U.S. and are just as effective as their brand name counterparts.

18. What if I don't want generic prescription drugs, can I opt to have only brand-name prescription drugs?
Yes. On the Patient Questionnaire you can indicate your preference for brand name or generic for each medication you order. To avoid any confusion, simply have your doctor write the prescription so it specifies your preference.

19. Will I receive a bill along with my prescription drug order and what will be listed on the bill?
Yes, you will receive an invoice along with your order. The bill will detail all of the prescription drugs you received and the shipping charges

20. Does it take longer to fill the prescription drug order of a new customer?
Yes, slightly, because all your medical and prescription drug information must first be reviewed by a Canadian doctor.

21. What payments do you accept?
We (only) accept Visa, MasterCard, personal checks and international money orders. We must wait for checks and money orders to arrive, then verify them before shipping your prescription drugs to you.

22. When I am sending/faxing in the Questionnaire, should I include my prescriptions in the same envelope/fax?
Yes, if mailing your questionnaire you must enclose your original prescription(s). If one arrives without the other we cannot fill and or/ship the order. Faxed prescriptions will only be accepted if they are from your doctor.

23. How much prescription drugs can I purchase at one time?
Local health regulations specify that a maximum 3-month supply (100 days) of each of your prescription drugs can be shipped to you provided you have a valid prescription for that drug. If your physician writes a prescription for more than a 3-month supply, we will treat the additional quantity as a refill and fill it in three months' time.

24. After my prescription drug refills have run out, do I have to submit a new questionnaire to order more prescription drugs?
No. You are required to fill in a questionnaire every year or if you have a change in your medical circumstances or prescription drug information.

25. How long will it take to get refills on prescription drugs?
As with other orders, prescription drug refills can take up to 14 days to arrive from the order date.

26. How do I get my prescription drug refills?
In order to get prescription drug refills shipped you must call, fax or email Canadian Meds Services and request that your prescription drug refills be shipped. We will not automatically send prescription drug fills.

27. Are all prescription drugs available from Canadian Meds Services?
No. Our partner pharmacies have most, but not all prescription drugs.

28. Can your Canadian pharmacy accept my prescription drug insurance?
We provide official prescription drug receipts for all medications sold to you. Your prescription insurance company may or may not accept our prescription drug receipt however. You should check with your prescription drug insurance company in advance.

29. As an online provider of pharmaceuticals do you accept online prescriptions?
NO! You should never purchase prescription drugs from pharmacies that accept online (strictly electronic) prescriptions. Online pharmacies that offer prescription drugs without paper prescriptions are not protecting your health. We have a Canadian physician review all your medical information and prescriptions and will not offer or sell any prescription medication unless we receive a faxed or mailed copy of your prescription from your personal physician.
